Good morning everyone!
I hope you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving Holiday! As 2022 rapidly comes to a close (I know, it goes by so fast), I wanted to share with everyone a few remaining dates for the end of the year before we go into our annual winter break. Be sure to always check our social media pages, our blog page, emails and all of the normal lines of communication to stay in the loop about everything going on. We try to give a variety of different outlets to keep everyone informed.
First, we wanted to thank everyone who participated in our Annual Holiday Sale. We hope you were able to find some RMAI related gifts for the Karate warrior in your family. Thanks also to Maddie Clark who came in on Friday to run the event, she did an excellent job. I wanted to make sure I publicly thanked her for her work. For those who might not know, in addition to working behind the counter, and training in martial arts at RMAI, Maddie is also a writer. Let's get into the December dates...
Friday 6:00 - 8:00pm DEMO PRACTICE
We only have a few remaining practice dates before the Flyers Demo, We highly recommend everyone attend as many as they can so that we can feel confident going into the demo on the 17th. We've added an additional Saturday (12/10)
Remaining Practice Schedule:
Friday December 9 6:30 – 8:00pm
Saturday December 10 1:00 - 3:00pm NEW PRACTICE
Friday December 16 5:30 – 7:00pm
PMAA Final Black Belt Exam
This Saturday December 3rd is the Final Black Belt Exam for those who passed the qualifiying examinations. Noah Mason, John Schuld, & Todd Liebel will be in attendance at Buck's County Karate this Saturday to test in front of the other Association Master and Kwan Jang Nim, be sure to wish them the best of luck.
RMAI affiliate programs
For those who are not aware, this past fall we have launched our RMAI affiliates program. Currently we have secured additional places where potential martial artists receive introductory level martial arts training. The locations right now are mostly just over the Delaware border, but here they are:
Montessori Learning Center (ongoing)
2313 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803
Ages 3-6
Bellevue Community Center (Beginning 12/6/22)

Ages 7 & Up
Buzzware in Arden Village (possibly coming in 2023)

Besides RMAI head quarters in Swarthmore, we wanted to branch out into other areas to provide more communities the opportunity to get the benefits of RMAI's special blend of Martial arts instruction. For students Black Belt and above who are interested in gaining in some additional teaching experience, with the possibility of employment in the future, we would highly encourage those black belts to reach out to Master Celona directly to learn about what is required.
BY THE WAY... This is also open to ALUMNI Black Belts who might be interested in getting involved in training again.

12/12 GUP TEST - Monday December 12 we will be having our GUP TESTING. There will be NO CLASSES THAT DAY. Testing this month is a large group due to those who missed last month's test. I highly encourage everyone to spend the next 2 weeks preparing for the last test of 2022!!
